An invitation to explore and practice
This is a 3-day training designed for learning simple yet powerful practices that enable authentic engagement that builds community, activates shared intelligence, and motivates leadership for change. Today, in fields like human services, where technical solutions are often the default, we must become better at inviting more people to co-create effective services. Now, the need to build individual and organizational capacity to navigate the complexity of our world with authenticity is even more critical.
How do we courageously lead innovative change which requires
equitable, diverse and inclusive practices?
How do we courageously lead to disrupt historical systems that
are deeply rooted in institutional hierarchy?
How do we courageously lead to create human-centered systems
across personnel, policies, practices and praxis?

Join us and you will leave feeling empowered and ready to…
- Build stronger teams and partnerships. Broaden the skill set within your group, work more effectively and enjoyably together, engage teams, organizations, and community stakeholders in meaningful conversations that promote resilience, belonging, innovation, develop intergovernmental relationships and create collective impact.
- Enhance skills and abilities to work with complexity, uncertainty and change. Develop leadership confidence for facing challenges that do not have solutions, learn practices to engage skillfully with fear, conflict and stuck patterns, use wise process planning architectures for small and large scale initiatives, and host strategic conversations.
- Apply what you are learning directly to the change initiatives that are important to you, your community or organization.

- Communities or cross-sector teams that are marked by consistent lack of dialogue, tension, and difference of opinion or fall into apathy or indifference?

WHAT PAST PARTICIPANTS HAVE SAID
"This was career changing for me and was an incredible participatory and team building experience for my staff.
Almost my entire job is facilitating meetings and bringing people to decision making, all of the techniques and
processes I learned will help me move to more participatory work and drive to the collective change I need to see."
"The hosts were amazing-- great models of thoughtful, intentional practice.
Also incredibly valuable was being invited from the onset to help facilitate/host sections."
"I really enjoyed the team approach and all of the different skills, abilities and perspectives that were shared by the
hosting team."
"The impact of your work is not something that can be measured, as the impact from your work is far greater than
we could ever fully conceptualize."
"This was a great opportunity to learn and grow in an unconventional setting/method."
"I would like to express my deepest gratitude for the work you have chosen to do and for your presence during this
3-day training. I am now and will be a champion for this paradigm shift in engaging with systems change for
myself, my marriage, my family, my work and community. For ever grateful to know that I am the instrument I get
to play each and everyday..."
